Job description- The aim of this study is to improve oral health for older adults in nursing homes in partnership with the Community Dental Service (SE Trust).- The study will involve training for care home staff in oral health practices and assessing the impact of this training on resident's oral health.- Obtained or be about to obtain a PhD in Medicine, Nursing, Nutrition, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.

  • A least 3 years of recent relevant research experience in one of the following fields (or a closely related field): Public Health, Oral Health, Nursing, Nutrition.
  • Experience of managing and analysing data generated from patient/participant based research.
  • Experience of undertaking (design, execution and reporting) qualitative research.
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment as part of a research team.
