Company Overview:

Established in 2004, NSN provides comprehensive Concierge and Security services to the residential and corporate industry.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced full time bookkeeper to join our fantastic team and assist the Finance Manager with daily operations.


Main Purpose of Job:


Reporting to the Finance Manager, the bookkeeper will be responsible for Sales ledger, Purchase Ledger and to support other areas of finance related tasks.

Experience in a finance role will be required, however, additional training may be provided.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Ledger

  • Dealing with client invoice queries
  • Initial credit checks using both Experian and our credit insurance broker
  • Raise proforma invoices where required for high risk clients
  • Producing and sending clients statements
  • Credit control duties

Purchase Ledger

  • Gaining approval of purchase invoices from the relevant department
  • Matching, posting and batch entering purchase invoices
  • Dealing with supplier queries

General Finance

  • Creating customer and supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records
  • Copying/filing/answering the telephone etc
  • Other Adhoc duties/administrative tasks
  • Post Office and Bank run
  • Assisting with financial analysis
  • Absence cover for other roles in the team such as payroll
  • Maintaining Finance logs

Key Skills:


  • Prior experience using Xero Accounts (or similar system) essential
  • Prior finance experience essential
  • Good skill and understanding of Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all departments.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen team player, providing support during colleague absences to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • Proactive working style.
  • Excellent telephone manner, demonstrating a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently, in a busy environment where reprioritization may be required.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
