Madisons are recruiting for a Garden Machinery Mechanic to get started on a temporary to permanent basis for a client of ours based in Sutton, Greater London.

Candidates must have a Full UK Drivers Licnese for this position.

It would be desirable if the candidates have worked in a Grounds Maintenance setting previously, working on machinery such as.

• Two-stroke machines: Strimmers, Blowers and Hedge cutters
• Pedestrian machinery such as, Walk behind lawn mowers, Powered weed brushes and Ride on lawn mowers such as
• Rise on equipment: John Deere OutFront mowers, Compact tractors and Tractor implements etc
• Have in interest in Garden Machinery ideally working as an Engineer, Mechanic within the Horticultural / Ground care or Agricultural sector
• Previous experience working on 2 stroke / 4 stroke engines
• A can do attitude & patience to locate faults
• Good knowledge of fault finding and diagnostics. Also, the ability to work on their own initiative. Basic computer skills and communication skills to liaise with suppliers.

Details:

• Immediate start available
• Temporary to permanent role
• Weekly payment
• 7:30-4:30, Monday to Friday
