An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vauxhall Motors Press Shop (Stellantis)in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area and is looking to expand its Stamping Unit.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance to work in the Stamping Unit at the Manufacturing Site. The positions will be for a minimum of 12 months fixed term contract to work a fixed weekend shift. The role will be on fixed weekend shift for 24 hrs per week.

The shifts will be rotational between days and nights on a weekly basis ie one week you will work a Friday and Saturday nightshift (18:00 to 06:00), the following week you will work a Saturday and Sunday dayshift (06:00 to 18:00).

The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows:
Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.
Performing planned maintenance tasks.
Support the production teams during production runs.
Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.
CIP – apply continuous improvement process.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

A sound knowledge of Press Line operation & associated equipment is advantageous MultiskilledKnowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageousFanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageousUnderstanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageousSound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
