***: SGK Bury specialise in digital pre-press origination for the Print and Packaging industry.

We are recruiting for a Trainee Flexographic Repro Operator to join our Graphics team in Bury. Once trained you will be responsible for producing Print Ready Repro and Stepping files. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an interest in print and packaging. You will also have good computer skills.

37.5hrs per week early and late shift system in operation
Hybrid working once trained 2 days working from anywhere

ONCE TRAINED - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repro and step files in accordance with printer specifications and company procedures.
Ensuring with other team members that all production deadlines are met.
Adhere to the company's quality manual, specifications and procedures.
Communicate with your line manager any problems found regarding previous production areas or supplied information.
When required to work within other production areas to ensure deadlines are met.
To work closely with your line manager and assist wherever possible.
Accurate recording of all time and materials used using the company MIS systems.
To constantly look to improve quality and working practices for the department.
To be available for regular overtime i.e. extended days and weekends.
To actively pursue your own development within the Company.
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment.
