Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of everything we do at Scope. We recently launched our new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy. It's an important piece of work, and there's lots to do. So we're looking for an EDI Coordinator to help us deliver it.


Fixed term, 35 hours per week

Location:
Based at Here East, London E15 2GW with working from home some or most of the time

  • Job description
    The role

You will:

  • Provide equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) advice to teams across Scope.
  • Keep track of all the actions in the EDI strategy by supporting the EDI strategy working group.
  • Support colleague networks to run effectively.
  • Support with delivery of EDI training to colleagues and volunteers. And coordinate EDI training bookings.
  • Provide administrative support to our EDI strategy steering group.
You will be working in a supportive team with our Head of Inclusion and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead. You will also be part of the wider Inclusion team.


About you
You do not need a degree or any other qualification for this role. Your skills and experience could come from working, volunteering, activism or lived experience.


You:

  • Have a working knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Are passionate about making change
  • Understand UK equalities legislation
  • Have experience of coordinating projects and excellent time management
