Placing Broker - Financial Lines
City of London
£70,000 - £100,000 + pension, PMI and DIS etc.


A Lloyd's Broker with new offices in the heart of the City is seeking an additional Placing Broker to focus on Financial Lines business.

Language skills in Spanish or Italian are essential for this Broker which have a strong presence in the European market.


The role duties will include:

  • Broking business into Lloyds, Company and International markets
  • Liaising with clients to obtain the relevant information and preparing broking presentations for new and renewal business
  • Developing new business i.e. new producers, new markets, new products etc.
  • Maintaining strong business relationships with Producers and Underwriters
The main pre-requisites for this role are solid placing experience, knowledge of Casualty and Financial Lines business and a large Underwriter network, as well as a tenacious attitude
