PAYROLL AND FINANCE OFFICER - PART TIME
Cox of Torbay

Paignton, Devon, TQ3 1NA

We are a successful family-owned company that has been in business for over 50 years serving our local community.


Currently, we are looking to recruit an experienced part-time Payroll and Finance Officer to join our small finance team on a Monday and Friday (16 hours a week).


Our Officer will have full responsibility for processing our payroll from start to finish and will be on hand to assist the finance team as and when required.


Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing new starters, contractual changes and leavers
  • Accurate calculations of all pay and deductions
  • Pension administration
  • HMRC, BACs and pension submissions
  • Dealing with all payroll and HR queries
  • Run month end and year end payroll procedures
  • Produce reconciliations and reports
  • Ability to assist with other ad hoc duties and covering for staff absences as and when required
You must be proactive, conscientious, flexible and comfortable working to timescales.
