    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team.

    The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead, to prepare competitive bids for prospective clients.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.


    Responsibilities:
    Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work and identify electrical requirements.
    Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
    Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine material quantities, labor requirements, and project timelines.
    Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including material costs, labor costs, equipment rentals, and overhead expenses.
    Utilize estimating software and tools to accurately calculate costs and generate bid proposals.
    Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment.
    Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
    Present cost estimates and bid proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner.
    Participate in bid review meetings and address any questions or concerns from clients or project stakeholders.
    Track and manage multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and priorities.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
    Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
    Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
    Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
    Advanced proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong organizational and time management skills.
    Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
