    Head of Production Engineering

    Compensation:
    £80,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance

    Full time / Permanent

    At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as our Head of Production Engineering at our Bristol or Andover sites.

    As the Head of Production Engineering you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for guiding our production facilities through a significant period of change.
    Day-to-day, you'll lead on the strategy to design, planning and deployment of automated manufacturing capabilities.
    Lead in the transformation to an industry 4.Lead and direct the engineering platform support teams across sites
    Provide technical and engineering support to the operations team
    Make recommendations for facility capital expenditures in support of wider strategy
    This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
    This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
    Experience required of the Head of Production Engineering
    Strong background in production engineering
    Experience of introducing advanced manufacturing / automation systems
    Have lead business through change / transformation
    Qualifications for the Head of Production Engineering
    Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject
