    About the role

    We are recruiting a Project Co-Ordinator for a fixed period to cover maternity leave until May 2025.

    The Flexible Resourcing Pool (FRP) sits at the heart of Operations within the Transformation Directorate and provides National programme team access to qualified and experienced project and programme professionals.

    The team operate a consultancy-based model, providing critical temporary capacity to support programme stability. Our focus is on delivery, parachuting into programmes to deliver a specific commission, provide capacity to support programme stability or to support recovery activity, ultimately impacting patient care.

    You will be flexibly deployed with wraparound support, working as part of a National programme team to deliver a clear set of value-added deliverables, across a term of anywhere between 8 weeks to 6 months at a time.

    You will learn our systems and processes and with support, navigate them to remove blockers and manage risks associated with delivery, commercials, budgets and people while working on assignment.

    The Flexible Resource Pool is a busy but exciting place to work, no two days will be the same as you will work across the diverse professional areas that make up the Transformation Directorate – digital, data, improvement, innovation or clinical. This provides ample opportunity to develop your skills and experiences further.

    The work is a fast-paced and the ideal candidate will be able to start quickly, assimilate the requirements and quickly get a tactical plan in place.

    Your duties will include:

    •Supporting activities for quality assurance, administering the portfolio management tool (Cora PPM), NHS Futures and Aspyre, collating and producing high quality reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the reporting of information.

    •Supporting the maintenance of portfolio, programme and operational controls across the programme through the management of meetings, configuration management and producing timely and accurate communications to relevant parties (inc inbox management)

    •Undertake information audit activities underpinned by appropriate methodology.

    •Identify and manage anomalies and inconsistencies in data and information sources; make recommendations for improvements.

    •Programme Governance and Controls key point of contact for the deployed programme

    •Co-ordinate meetings and stakeholder consultation events, preparing agendas and supporting papers, and taking detailed minutes on complex issues.

    •Be responsible for file management, using robust version control and Information management techniques, adhering to Information Governance compliance within Future NHS and MS Teams.

    •Carrying out the document management and assurance processes involved in drafting key documents

    •Management of tasks and resources based on plans

    •Supporting the escalation and working with the teams to resolve provider and programmes which do not meet assurance activities.

    •Supporting yearly business planning activities

    Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
