Our client, a well-established independent insurance broker in Edinburgh, is seeking a Senior Commercial Broker to join their team. If you have a strong background in handling commercial insurance accounts and building client relationships, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the company director to manage key commercial insurance accounts.
• Handle various tasks related to new and existing business, such as quotations, renewals, policy issue, and market submissions.
• Accompany the director on client visits to establish strong client rapport.
• Deliver professional and cost-effective services to all clients.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with insurers.
• Serve as a technical resource for junior broking staff.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in broking commercial insurance risks across different sectors.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and pay close attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in broking various types of insurance, including property, motor, liability, and more.
• Comfortable managing new and existing business, renewals, and market submissions.
• Certification in CII/ACII (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Acturis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer care.
