Your New Role
Survitec seeks a Buyer to join our team.

If you're strategic-driven and passionate about procurement, this role is for you Reporting to the Materials Manager in our Marine division at Dunmurry site, you'll focus on improving supplier on-time delivery, reducing inventory, and cutting costs.

You'll also manage and monitor suppliers and contribute to exciting projects aimed at solving problems and enhancing factory performance. Join us for a dynamic role with impactful responsibilities.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Build effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with key terms
Define contract requirements and create detailed supplier specifications
Analyse buying data, identify variances, and propose opportunities for profitability improvement
Resolve queries from internal or external customers and suppliers
Identify noncompliance with purchasing policies and regulatory codes, reporting and escalating as needed
Contribute to stakeholder engagement by understanding needs and effectively communicating
Participate in projects using problem solving tools to improve factory performance

The Experience and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria

Educated to degree level
Strong demonstrable experience in a Purchasing background
Experience gained within a manufacturing setting
Excellent Supply and demand capability
Experience using ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
