National Sales Consultant
Basic salary £45,000 - £55,000, OTE £100k + company car or allowance

Are you a senior level new business specialist, used to long lead times and high value contract? Are you looking for an autonomous role working for a multinational business with a great reputation? We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a specificvertical market with a real chance to grow and develop your career.
The Role:
- This is a home based role, covering the UK, selling service contracts for workwear and other business services to the engineering and manufacturing sector.
- You'll be targeting organisations with large spends and contract values from £500k upwards.
- The nature of the role means there will be tenders involved and you'll have some support from a bid manager; lead times will be quite long and sales cycles complex.
- It's a new business role, you'll self source a lot of your own leads although there will be some marketing support, and you'll organise and manage your own diary. This isn't a position for someone who enjoys account management, accounts are passed on oncewon so you can focus on new business.
- It's a consultative sales process, selling a service contract, usually over 3 years duration and you'll have multiple decision makers involved in the buying cycle.
- This is considered a senior level sales role within the business and works as part of a team, each person with their own vertical.
The Person:
- We're looking for someone who is truly a new business specialist, used to winning high value contracts with complex sales cycles.
- You'll ideally be based in the Midlands or north but we will consider outstanding applicants from elsewhere in the country
- This role would suit someone who has sold a service or contract based solution previously and you'll be used to long lead times, ideally with some experience of the tender process
- You'll be a great communicator, both verbally and written and will be used to negotiating with multiple Csuite decision makers
- We really want someone who is used to owning the full sales process from start to finish and is comfortable working in the engineering and manufacturing vertical
The Package:
- The basic salary is dependent on experience but will be from £45,000
- There is a great commission structure which will also incorporate quarterly and annual bonuses to an OTE of circa £100,000.
