Description

Our client, a government-backed research institute, has a new contract opening for a Communications Specialist to develop and deliver on communications activities around an exciting project(s).

This position is fully remote, although our client (with offices UK wide) also offers hot-desking options, if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Generate key messaging and propositions
Develop and enhance an existing visual identity
Produce relevant collaterals such as digital assets, flyers, banners and case studies (with support from an external agency as required) to support business development activity and further develop/reinforce the project brand
Undertake and coordinate photoshoots and filming requests as required storyboarding, editing and producing finished films
Effective management of events, both internal and external, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded
Work with external suppliers design and web agencies, freelancers, printers, etc. to deliver to agreed comms and collateral objectives
Coordinate and deliver communication toolkits for project team members to use to engage external stakeholders
Website develop, create and launch with support from external suppliers
Monitor, review and report on all communication activity and results

Key Requirements

Proven experience in internal (and preferably also external) communications
A firm understanding of Government/Public sector is preferable
Available to start as early as midlate January
Experience delivering engaging internal communications around campaigns/projects for a wide range of audiences
Thorough understanding of communication channels and formats, with strong writing/content creation skills and the ability to adapt writing style for a range of different channels and internal audiences
Some experience of simple video content creation/editing is preferable
