Leeds, Leeds International Study Centre Contract type: Full Time – Permanent

Leeds International Study Centre and its programmes are provided by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University.

You will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our education strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience.

You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre.

The Subject Lead role will also have programme management responsibility of an IY1 programme. Provide academic coordination for the designated module(s) in the role of Subject Lead

Lead / Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff contributing to the effective overall management of the programmes and the student life cycle.

Line manage a group of academic tutors
Contribute to the delivery and assessment of Academic English provision.
Support planning activities e.g. timetabling and field trips
Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and the AES online platform
Work with the centre's Student Experience and academic team to deliver induction, orientation and registration programmes.
g enhancement and engagement activities with the partner universities.

Liaise and meet with the Link Tutor at the partner university to ensure that quality standards and external oversight are achieved.

Engage in scholarly activity to ensure the delivery of modules is current
Implement quality assurance procedures at module level and contribute to the annual monitoring and review of the programme to achieve high standards
Complete sponsor reports and academic reports for students.
Bachelor's degree.
Relevant Teaching qualification (DELTA, TEFL, MA Linguistics)
