  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values

Education:


Essential criteria:


  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent/New Diploma Level 3 or equivalent
  • Evidence of literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE C or equivalent
  • Committed to own personal development and evidence of regular attendance at training days
  • Phlebotomy training copetency

Experience:


Essential criteria:


  • Previous experience of working with patients in a hospital environment
  • Previous experience of team work

Desirable criteria:


  • Previous experience of customer care

Skills:


Essential criteria:


  • Ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Basic computer /key board skills
  • Previous clinic experience specific to GOPD clinics / colposcopy

Desirable criteria:


  • Competent in performing cannulation and phlebotomy
  • Ability to communicate and present written information clearly
  • Ability to understand and undertake monitoring of patients' vital signs
