    Goods Inwards Operative

    Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for a Goods Inwards Operative to join our well established client based in the Penkridge area.

    Main duties of this Goods Inwards Operative role:
    • Taking delivery of goods and booking in using the in house management system
    • Moving stock around the building, using lifting equipment where needed
    • Checking deliveries against delivery notes, recording any missing items or damage
    • Arranging supplier uplifts for damaged stock/returns
    • Packing items/pallets and liaising with external suppliers
    • Safely storing goods in the stockroom and warehouse
    • Liaising with the parts specialists and sales team
    • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
    • Carrying out other duties when required, such as; picking, packing and despatch of ordered goods from the website
    Skills required for Goods Inwards Operative role:
    • Experience in a similar role accepting deliveries
    • FLT License would be an advantage
    • Good attention to detail, numeracy and IT skills
    • Committed to providing excellent customer service
    • Reliable and trustworthy
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Team Player
    Job Details of this Goods Inwards Operative role:
    • Salary £23,5000 to £24,000
    • Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 Friday 09:00-17:00
    • Location: ST19 - Penkrdige
    • Temp to perm
