The Role


Working with one or more of our brands, the SEO Executive is responsible for implementing on-site SEO best practice and supporting the content team to ensure all website content is optimised for maximum organic search visibility.


Collaborating with all teams within the Publishing department, the SEO Executive will have a working understanding of SEO and effectively use analysis and judgement to make complex decisions and clearly communicate these.

They are integral to the development and implementation of the brand SEO roadmap and are responsible for delivering roadmap objectives with direction from the SEO Manager.

Our Team


The Brands team is responsible for growing the organic traffic of brands such as The Eco Experts, Expert Market, Startups, and Website Builder Expert.


The department consists of:

Content team - responsible for creating and delivering a high-quality content strategy that meets organic traffic and conversion targets, and delivers a trusted and unique brand experience.

Audience team - responsible for delivering audience development strategies that grow the reach and visibility of MVF's brands. The team comprises SEO and Campaigns (link acquisition) teams.


The SEO Executive will benefit from a creative environment where autonomous thinking is encouraged, have the chance to test ideas of their own by running SEO experiments and to contribute on large scale projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver the team's onsite SEO strategy
  • Conduct content reviews and provide feedback to the Content team to ensure all website copy is optimised
  • Identify SEO opportunities and communicate these to brand Editors to assist with strategic planning
  • Support with SEO requests to grow and develop our website and publishing portfolio
  • Conduct Technical SEO audits to ensure best SEO practice is applied to the websites
  • Assist with testing and R&D of new SEO initiatives
  • Deliver data analysis to provide insights that drive actionable outcomes
  • Communicate key information to relevant stakeholders and the wider team

What Success Looks Like:


  • Website content is optimised and feedback is provided to writers
  • Onsite SEO initiatives are successfully delivered on time
  • Technical SEO audits are run and necessary fixes are implemented
  • The brand hub is kept up to date of the latest SEO opportunities
  • Organic traffic data is analysed and relevant stakeholders are aware of important performance insights
