    Were looking for bold and remarkable people who care. Can you make a difference to the lives of disabled people?

    We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a young lady, who is based in Kirkconnel. No two days are the same in the house. This young lady has epilepsy and a peg and uses a wheelchair. Public transport is available as we live on a bus route and the train station is close by but own transport an advantage.

    Her interests are cooking, painting, television and reading. She likes someone to read to her.

    Hours will be discussed at interview but would rarely involve early mornings or evenings after 9.00pm. You would also be required to work either a Saturday or Sunday twice a month.

  • Rate of Pay to be discussed at interview
  • Hours to be arranged
  • Experience with Epilepsy and naso-gastric tubes preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Moving and Assisting training an advantage
  • Must like dogs
  • Friendly and patient and a good communicator

  • Own transport an advantage
