Responsibilities:


  • Managing the daytoday responsibilities within the Finance team.
  • Performing reviews of businesses requirements and strategy adjusting the structure, duties and roles of the Finance team to meet requirements.
  • Partnering with the Directors and Senior Leadership Team to ensure cohesion with the overall operation of the business.
  • Preparation of management accounts, including regular reporting to Directors on business performance.
  • Production of yearend accounts for submission to external accountants.
  • Liaising with external accountants and acting as first point of contact for any queries.
  • Overseeing work produced by the team and checking reconciliations and payroll.
  • Managing banking relationships and client money compliance.
  • Processing and checking supplier payment runs.
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting and reporting.
  • Responsible for all VAT, HRMC and legislative duties.

Requirements:


  • ACCA/CIMA newly qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience working within the construction/property sector would be ideal.
  • Experience working within a growing SME.
  • Experience using Qube PM/MRI (beneficial).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
