Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing the daytoday responsibilities within the Finance team.
- Performing reviews of businesses requirements and strategy adjusting the structure, duties and roles of the Finance team to meet requirements.
- Partnering with the Directors and Senior Leadership Team to ensure cohesion with the overall operation of the business.
- Preparation of management accounts, including regular reporting to Directors on business performance.
- Production of yearend accounts for submission to external accountants.
- Liaising with external accountants and acting as first point of contact for any queries.
- Overseeing work produced by the team and checking reconciliations and payroll.
- Managing banking relationships and client money compliance.
- Processing and checking supplier payment runs.
- Weekly cashflow forecasting and reporting.
- Responsible for all VAT, HRMC and legislative duties.
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA newly qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience working within the construction/property sector would be ideal.
- Experience working within a growing SME.
- Experience using Qube PM/MRI (beneficial).
- Strong communication skills.
- Team management experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
