    2306 - Application Support Analyst – Aberdeen

    We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team working onsite in Aberdeen. As Applications Support Analyst you will provide application support of Maintenance & Planning Applications for an enterprise sized organisation.     What you'll do

    • Provide technical support for Maintenance & Planning applications and services (Primavera P6, Permit and Barrier Vision, Hexagon (suite of applications), One Integrity, Nexar (Inspection Software)
    • Actively support the on-going security, performance, stability maintenance and monitoring of the application portfolio
    • Provide technical review and support for changes made to the Maintenance & Planning applications and services
    • Installation, configuration, administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Maintenance & Planning application portfolio
    • Ensure application changes are aligned with Corporate change management processes
    • Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure services meet business requirements and manage supplier relationship where applicable
    • Proactively support and engage with other IS technical disciplines to ensure high level of applications system availability to business
    • Related hardware accessory support and asset management
    • Application patching
    • Delivery of business-critical upgrades
    • Manage license compliance, annual license renewals and access controls process

    What to bring

    • Experience of Oil & Gas systems and applications
    • Experience of supporting some or all of the following; Primavera P6, Permit and Barrier Vision, Hexagon (suite of applications), One Integrity, Nexar Inspection Software
    • Knowledge of key business processes (Asset Integrity, Maintenance and Inspection, Integrated Asset Planning, Control of Work)
    • Strong customer orientated approach
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience to liaise with individuals up to Leadership level and external vendors
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organisation, taking time to get to know and understand customers, gaining their trust and respect
    • Experience of application data integrations and monitoring processes
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Proven documentation skills
    • Ability to be self-supporting and proactive
    • Ability to multi-task and work well under sustained pressure with conflicting demands and an ability to respond to fast changing circumstances
    • An awareness of emerging technologies and demonstrable desire to stay current
    • Experience and understanding of working within an ITIL environment
