- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning across various system types.
- Attend emergency callouts and execute reactive & minor or extra works efficiently.
- Complete electronic worksheets daily, submit timesheets weekly, and manage weekly mileage/expense claims.
- Comply with all company policies relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Technical Compliance.
- Provide support to colleagues with technical issues either through telephone or site visits.
- Maintain high standards in engineering practices, and report any inconsistencies.
- Manage client expectations by maintaining communication regarding project timelines and changes.
- Update site logbooks with details of all work carried out.
- Mentor and assist in the development of trainees.
- Maintain company issued equipment and report any issues.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships and assist in securing future work.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry.
- Proven ability to install, test, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems and/or Security Systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with software programming on main line products.
- Effective communication skills, capable of managing relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Driving Licence (preferred).
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Engineering: 5+ years (preferred)
