- Gatehouse duties – covering shifts at the client's three gatehouses in Burton on Trent
- Patrol duties - patrols including vehicular and on foot throughout client's Burton sites, recording each patrol point by use of security recording system/s in operation
- Carry out duties in accordance with fire legislation including assisting with fire audibility tests and evacuations (including fire drills)
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies as and when requested
- Report all incidents / anomalies to duty Shift Controller/Leading Hand
- All shifts are of 12 hours duration days or nights and Officers must be available to work weekends and bank holidays
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Good spoken English and legible handwriting
- Should be physically fit.
- Security Industry Association (SIA) frontline licence.
- Data input accuracy
- Generally manages own patrols, though some duties – locking & unlocking – require to be performed at set times.
- Reports to duty Shift Controller throughout each shift.

Description
We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the site's policies & procedures is necessary in order to take the correct action following any incident up to and including major incidents.
