Financial Accountant | 6-9 month Contract |£190-220pd| Large Non-Profit | Hybrid

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a very well-known & commercially focussed non-profit organisation to join the finance team.

The Financial Accountant will be working on various projects including process improvement, year-end/audit and reconcilingaccounts.

Key Responsibilities

Working towards financial accounting across a number of commercially focussed projects.
Review and deliver improvements to processes and policies across finance
Assist in the preparation of all group statutory accounts including working with partial exemption/restricted funds.
Preparing various reconciliations including both balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
Liaising effectively with other team members to ensure transactional processing is carried out accurately

Person Specification

Partqualified and actively studying towards (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA), or fully qualified
Strong financial accounting experience
Strong understanding of technical finance
Experience of improving processes to increase productivity and efficiency
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Highly analytical
A selfstarter who can work independently
