    Description

    We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Teacher of English to join our well-established and high-performing English Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or someone with experience looking to develop their teaching and pedagogy in a supportive environment. There are opportunities for responsibility within the wider school for the right candidate – please get in touch to discuss if this is of interest to you.

    The English department takes a collaborative approach to learning and teaching which values everyone's personalities, skills, interests, and strategies. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for English and for teaching young people; the ability to inspire students; and the desire to go the extra mile to help our students achieve their full potential. The ability to teach English Language or Literature to A Level is not essential.

    Location : Woking, Surrey - 15 minute walk from the train station and excellent transport links via A3 and M25

    St John the Baptist School, part of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust, is a highly successful, over-subscribed mixed Catholic school and sixth form based in Woking, Surrey.
