The Team
The Strategic Projects and Change team is responsible for enabling the University to meet its strategic intent.

Through management of projects and programmes, alongside supporting others to use a project management toolkit, the team's sole purpose is to deliver change.

We are a well-respected team within the University with the opportunity to manage an exciting array of projects that bring a range of benefits to the institution.

We sit within York St John's vibrant city centre campus and have the chance to work alongside a variety of departments within the school.


The Role

Under the leadership of the Director of Strategy and Projects, you will empower your team to collaboratively deliver projects, programmes, and operational excellence initiatives.

You will be responsible for supporting colleagues within the organisation to run their own projects by sharing the department's bespoke project management toolkit, providing coaching on project management best practice and being an ambassador for change.

You will have experience of leading a team and delivering high-profile projects. Your interpersonal skills will be exceptional and you will have expertise in negotiation, influence and persuasion.
