Media Production Manager - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom - Cambridge Judge Business School

    Default job background
    Description

    Our Company:
JBS Executive Education Ltd. (JBSEEL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge designing world-class programmes that deliver real world impact.

Our academics bring fresh, research-based insight into our programmes, which is amplified by emphasis on high levels of faculty interaction.

This maximises the exchange of ideas between academics and participants, creating a truly collaborative learning environment. Our goal is to deliver transformative learning experiences that allow executives to make a real difference within their organisations.

    Our Role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Media Production Manager to support the wider CJBS Digital team in designing, creating and developing Executive Education's online and hybrid programmes.

The Media Production Manager will oversee all media production and collaborate with faculty and the wider team to design and produce dynamic programme media, film faculty and practitioners for various content materials, and edit to final deliverable.

The role will also include studio development and project management.
The Media Production Manager will report to the Head of Digital Learning and be responsible for two Instructional Designers.

Due to the demanding nature of providing video production services to a highly engaged team, the position may at times be required to attend events and meetings outside normal working hours and travel for on-location video shooting.

However, we understand the importance of flexibility in managing work-life balance; our structure includes flexible working hours to accommodate individual needs and preferences.

    Our Ideal Media Production Manager:

Responsible – our Media Production Manager will lead a team of 2, and therefore will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of line management, being able to lead, influence and delegate appropriately.

Personable – it is important that our Media Production Manager is able to build strong relationships with our key stakeholders, such as faculty, to provide security, reassurance and coaching when filming to ultimately produce high-quality content.

Knowledgeable – the ability to use composition, camera movements, lighting and sound, as well as various pieces of equipment and software to produce quality video content.

Organised – high-level attention to detail, planning and decision-making skills to ensure that project timelines and deadlines are adhered to.

Inquisitive – we would like our Media Production Manager to have a desire to keep up to date with new and emerging trends and proficiencies, and share their novel ideas with the wider team.

Passionate – knowledge and competency with software and systems are important, but a desire to learn, improve and add value to our team are key to us.

    Further Info:
This is a full-time, permanent role. Salary will be in the range of £50,000-£55,000 per annum, alongside a bonus scheme and generous benefits package.

This is a hybrid role, with a current company-wide requirement of a minimum of two working days from our office in Cambridge.

Please note that the nature of this particular role involves on-location shooting, therefore the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office more regularly than this when business demand requires.
