Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Parking Services - Business Support Officer for our client in Bath & North East Somerset.


The successful post holder will provide comprehensive customer focussed 'Parking Services' telephone, business administration and business support to colleagues, customers and other stakeholders who provide services.


DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Contribution to the general management, development, maintenance and review of the Business Support team and wider Service.
  • Assist the Business Support Team Leader to administer the day to day operations; ensuring business objectives are met through organising and prioritising workloads to meet available resources and customer demand.
  • To ensure effective and accessible communication with colleagues, service users, the general public and others as appropriate or required.
  • Receive and respond to Penalty Charge Notice correspondence for example to written challenges and representations.
  • Undertake a fully documented investigation in order to assess the validity of the Penalty Charge Notice and using all available evidence to make an informed decision to either cancel or enforce.
  • Process and issue Council provided parking permits and Blue Badges.
  • Be the first point of contact for enquiries from the public, Members, Senior Management and external organisations including bailiffs; Traffic Penalty Tribunal; Traffic Enforcement Centre; and the DVLA.
  • Utilise IT skills through the operation of the Parking Services ICT systems to process and complete service requests and resolution of enquiries.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Capable of following principles of integrated working, sharing best practice and information to develop self and support others.
Road Traffic Act 1991; Traffic Management Act 200- Effective communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively resolve challenging and emotive issues from customers.
  • Possesses an uptodate Enhanced DBS.

  • Mon
  • Fri, 08:30pm 17:00pm
  • Rate: £12.95 P/H
