About The Role:


We have an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Administrators to join our AML Team at the Taunton Diagnostic Centre.

Alliance Medical runs Taunton Diagnostic Centre in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.

Serving patients across the county, the centre is located away from the busy hospital making it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients.

Offering a range of diagnostic imaging, our friendly team offers patients a calm and efficient scanning service.


Our Administrators provide a pivotal role in supporting our clinical teams and patients to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.

Based on reception you will be working directly with patients in the clinical environment, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in healthcare.


Role responsibilities include:

  • Reception duties
  • Supporting all incoming queries into the centre
  • Chaperoning
  • Bookings of appointments
  • Processing of patients via our E-Systems

Please note:
This is a role offering flexible hours from hours per week. with shifts being 6.5 hours in length with 2 days minimums shift pattern.


Skills And Experience:


To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, good communication, IT and administration skills, alongside a compassionate and enthusiastic demeanour.

A flexible, organised and enthusiastic attitude is essential. Experience in an administration role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
