The role

  • To lead LRQA Nettitude in becoming a renowned global market leading managed provider of managed security and support services.
  • Network & Security Consultant is a selfdriven person, and able to work well individually and part of the strong Managed Services team. You will work forefront of technologies with the vendors involved Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.
  • You will be working closely with NOC Support Desk and will be required to lead customer Network and security projects from presales handover to delivery. You will present LRQA Nettitude's excellent professional standard to customers while work alongside with other Network Security Consultants, Presales Engineers, Account Managers, Vendor Security Engineers closely.
  • You will have desire and passion to stay up to date with emerging technologies, investigate new solutions to for the customer and NOC improvements, and will lead and own customer projects.
  • You will have experience of working in a large multiclient solution provider with a rapidly expanding customer base.

Location
This role is hybrid based within the UK, with a mixture of Home and Office based working.

We can support working from across the UK. All applicants will require residence in the UK.


What you'll be doing in your role:

As a Senior Network & Security Consultant, you'll need to:

  • Lead and own client technical projects from pre-sales across to delivery and finalisation
  • Familiarity and capability with securityfocussed networking concepts and technologies across:
  • Common vendors (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)
  • Paradigms (Onprem, BYOD, Cloud, SASE, etc.)
  • Levels (Architect, Review, Design, Build, Diagnose and Troubleshoot)
  • Capability to estimate and document projects and engagements across:
  • Pre-sales (scoping, estimation, SoW, BoM, etc.)
  • Delivery (HLD, LLD, Risk Register, etc.)
  • Reporting and Review (Reports, Debriefs, etc.)
  • Securitydriven design and review focus
  • Reporting across different organisational levels (Management, Technical, etc.)
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of:
  • Network and Security Technology Developments
  • Emerging and active cyber security threats and trends

Key Skills:


The following are strong recommendations and in most cases prerequisites of the role.

  • Expert level knowledge with core network technologies in largescale deployments
  • Minimum 34 years' experience delivering projects to enterprise level clients
  • Low level understanding of networking including strong knowledge in IP stack
  • Very Good working knowledge and experience with LAN & WAN, Routing protocols
  • Experience with delivering projects related to Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortigate firewalls
  • Experience with firewall ruleset, device configuration, device health check
  • Experience with OT Security Audits
  • Professional level certifications in core Networking or firewall technology platforms (CCNP/CCSE/ PCNSE/NSE5)
  • Experience on scoping projects to deliver network and security solutions
  • Excellent delivery of HLD, LLD, and other technical architecture documents
  • Excellent communications and customer facing skills with a positive and proactive attitude towards customer issues
  • Excellent Team player

Desirable:


  • Experience of automation using Ansible, Python
  • Experience with configure and deliver F5 Web Application Firewalls
  • Experience with NAC solutions delivery such as Cisco ISE, Portnox, etc.
  • ITIL qualification or awareness of the ITIL processes
  • Experience of working in a multiclient solutions provider
