The Opportunity


The main purpose of the Stores Operative role is to Support the Logistics and Resource Manager in coordinating and controlling the provision of all assets, equipment and consumables in direct support of the KAEFER contracts in the Marine operation.


To learn the skills and aptitude needed to perform all required discipline tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner to the desired safety and quality standards in accordance with site requirements, procedures, and specifications.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and looks for opportunities to expand systems.

Carry out their role in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.


Deliver materials, consumables and equipment to projects when required to ensure that they are in the right place to meet customer demand.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Good understanding of the materials we order, monthly stock take, following LEAN process, issue, and movement of materials.
  • Provide support to the stores teams to perform safe and effective duties in line with company procedures.
  • Providing it is within the storeman ability, deal with any minor issue that prevents completion of the task
  • Provide timely feedback to the manager of ongoing status or completion of the task.
  • Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits.
  • Adhere to all applicable company policies, working practices and procedures as communicated by the company from time to time.
  • Adhere to the terms and conditions of employment along with any applicable collective agreements
