Our local authority client has a 3-month contract vacancy (with the possibility of extension) for the role of a HOUSING SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR, details as followsJob Purpose
Responsibilities
- Record and index letters and documents from applicants and customers with the correct document type
- Gather and collate information for final decisions
- To produce and format a range of documents, including letters, reports and presentations, ensuring that they are accurate and wellpresented meeting specifications and deadlines.
- To collect, process and input data into systems and databases as required, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Promote equality as an integral part of the role, treating everyone with fairness and dignity.
Essential Requirements
- Good basic education, to include five GCSE qualifications grade C (inc Maths & English) or equivalent
- Good knowledge of English Grammar and good demonstrable numeracy skills
- Use and experience of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of Local Government departments and services
