Would you like to become part of our Stepping Stones family and enjoy our Woodland Adventures The Nursery has been here for over 30 years and has a happy well established staff team with an excellent reputation.

It is in a beautiful rural setting with an adjacent private 5 acre woodland.

Our children are happy and confident and thrive in the loving, caring, stimulating environment we provide.


We have small groups of children in all of our rooms, so you would be part of a small, professional and friendly team.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff members
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the nursery
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
  • Monitor and document the progress and development of each child
  • Collaborate with other nursery room leaders to plan and coordinate activities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery room

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 3 in Childcare
