    Trade Surveillance (2+ years experience) - Financial Services

    *Please note that we are looking for experience in Spoofing/Ramping/Market Abuse - whilst an appreciation of Trade Management/Trade Lifecycle is important, we are ideally looking for more than Operations experience. Demonstrating a genuine interest in this area with exposure to Trade is also valid*

    Location - Glasgow 2/3 days a week commutable from surrounding areas - (inc Edinburgh etc)

    Role Description

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested and keen to transition into a consultancy and support a Global Investment Banking client.

    The Trade Surveillance Associate will support the clients trading team - effectively working on risk mitigation by insuring that all trades are legitimate and there is no reputational damage or risk. Experience in the trade life cycle or trade management is very beneficial for this role.

    This role will require excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and will be attractive to individuals who thrive in high paced, and deadline driven environments.

    Your responsibilities will include and not limited to the following;
  • Process execution: ability to follow detailed procedures accurately
  • Process improvement: identify ways to improve processes
  • Documentation collation: Identify which documents need to be obtained and review for accuracy against set standards. Responding to internal and external email queries.
  • Cross-training new team members.
    Full and detailed training will be provided.

    Skills and Experience
  • You will be driven, diligent and process oriented
  • Have worked in Trade Surveillance/Trade Management/Trade Lifecycle Analysis
  • Experience in Financial Services (Ideally Investment Banking)
  • Aware of key topics such as Ramping/Market Abuse/Spoofing
  • Great communication skills - written & verbal
