Trial Balance Consulting have been eassigned by a new client, a highly successful service provider, to recruit a Finance Officer to join the organisation. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis to be located at the company's offices in Highbridge. There is also potential for a hybrid working arrangement once the successful candidate is up to speed.

This is a pivotal role within the finance team and has been created to improve the overall operations of the accounting function. Key responsibilities to include:

Maintenance of bespoke accounting system

Income and expenditure processing

Credit control

Preparing and processing of VAT reports and returns

Managing the accounts receivable function

Bank reconciliations

Cash management

For this role we seek an experienced, organised and communicative Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper who is either part/fully AAT or qualified through vocational experience. Previous credit control experience would be advantageous, but not a pre-requisite for application although good all-round IT aptitude, particularly MS Excel, is essential.
