    Behaviour Teaching Assistant - PRU - Hackney - immediate start - £80 - £100 a day


    Teach360 are currently looking for a strong Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team in a Secondary school are a type of school that caters for children who can't attend a mainstream school.

    Pupils are often referred there if they need greater care and support than their school can provide.

    The students who attend this PRU have been permanently from their mainstream school for behaviour reasons, or at risk of permanent exclusion.

    About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - PRU - Hackney


    Your role as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant will require you to work in the classroom in order to support students with their academic studies and to assist them with their behaviour.

    There are a number of students in this provision who exhibit emotional or behavioural problems, including problems with anger, mental health issues, and school phobias and refusals to attend school.

    As a Behaviour Teacher Assistant you will have an opportunity to interact with children outside of the classroom by developing interventions that are designed to support their behavioural needs.

    You will either be involved in the running of these interventions or supporting them in their implementation.
