Job description:
We are recruiting for an EHC Plan Writer with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester. The role is a hybrid temporary contract beginning the start of February lasting 6 months with a possible extension.

Day to day:

Writing detailed EHC Plans ensuring that they clearly and accurately represent the information collected/submitted.
Amending EHC plans when and where appropriate within statutory timescales
Ensuring EHC Plans written are child/young person focussed
Coordinating the requests for professional advice in relation to EHC needs assessments
Maintaining a check on the receipt of professional advice and chaseup missing elements as necessary
Keeping SEND Team Managers up to date with progress on assessments

Daily rate:
£250-£300 per day
