    Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity for an SAP Consultant, who will partner with the Finance and Treasury business units leveraging technical knowledge and leadership to drive improvements to business processes and technology solutions in SAP S/4 HANA and other Finance technology applications to assist in the transformation of Valvoline Global's treasury and finance functions. This role contributes to large-scale, global work streams which require configuration, maintenance, operations, integration of new business processes, and ongoing administration of our finance business solutions. This role coordinates with IT colleagues on continuous improvement, solution evolution, cross-functional teams while maintaining SAP "Fit to Standard" best practice solutions to minimize custom code.

    In this role you'll...

    • Provide day to day process support for business processes, system issues, interfaces, external system or partners. Assist business partners with auditing activities by providing data, reports, or other information.
    • As Module (TR, FI, FSCM) Consultant, lead assigned SAP implementation projects to implement required functionality; works with business partners on larger projects or small enhancement to resolve process issues or meet new business requirements, while maintaining an SAP "Fit to Standard" approach to reduce custom code; takes requests from or provides system / process improvement ideas to business partners.
    1. Document business requirements
    2. Perform analysis and functional and/or technical design and estimate solution for implementation while coordinating with technical / development resources.
    3. Charter project and send through governance to obtain project resources and establish timing
    4. Perform configuration for modules in your area of responsibility
    5. Test solution during development to determine areas of improvement
    6. Coordinate or assist with data gathering, data review, data loads and process education
    7. Implement solution into production system
    8. Support business partners during hyper care immediately after go-live of new functionality
    • Act as a project manager for projects in their area of responsibility. This will include managing a project team of internal resources or consultants to deliver a final solution to business partners based on their requirements. It will also involve supporting the business partner leads on the project as well.
    • Work with IT colleagues to ensure best practices are followed for security, compliance, change management and release management. Collaborates internally with other team members on continuous improvement and/or on cross-functional teams. May coach junior team members.
    • Work with business partners on opportunity assessment / proof of concept investigations as a key input into future business optimization projects
    • Maintain relationships with key business partner stakeholders

    What you'll bring...

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information management, or a related field.
    • Required:
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant consulting or experience implementing SAP S/4 Finance modules.
    • Preferred:
    • 4-5 years of SAP FI/CO, GL, Treasury, and Cash Management
    • SAP Treasury: IHC setup/Electronics bank statements, Search String, dunning and payments.
    • SAP Banking: Lockbox, electronic bank statements, bank reconciliation
    • Knowledge on Accounts receivables Credit and Deduction Management (FSCM), Accounts Payables including VIM/SR/OpenText
    • Treasury Risk Management Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Hedge Management, Market Risk Analyzer / Credit Risk Analyzer, Netting Process, Loans Management
    • 2+ years integration experience with other process areas
    • Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP S/4 Hana implementations

    You have...

    • Strong knowledge of SAP Treasury, Banking, Cash Management, FI, GL and their related functions.
    • Understanding of finance S/4 database design, structure, functions, processes and experience with database tools
    • Maintain SAP best practice solution approach to reduce custom code.
    • Curious thinker with the initiative to find solutions
    • Strong attention to detail, urgency, focus and discipline
    • Customer first mentality with demonstrated ability to improve processes
    • Ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary efforts and communicate with both with technical and non-technical users
    • Must be effective in gathering requirements from the business users, know the appropriate SAP finance options and be able to strongly articulate the pros and cons associated with each option
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; flexible, supportive, and adaptive to change
