    Location: London, UK (1-2 days in the office per week)

    Up to £135k Total Package which includes Bonus 25%, 15% Pension, 30 Days Holiday, Full Family HC)

    This position represents a unique opportunity to influence the future of investment management solutions at a leading financial services firm, leveraging your expertise to make a lasting impact.

    Role requires a Snr and a seasoned Senior Product Owner to spearhead the development and strategic direction of our client emerging investment management platform, which is poised to revolutionize the landscape with offerings such as stockbroking strategies, government securities (Gilts), SIPPs, ISAs, and more.

    This position is ideal for an individual with a background in innovation or product leadership, tasked with guiding the creation and implementation of an industry leading investment platform. The role encompasses a wide array of services, including but not limited to financial, shareholder, corporate governance, and investor services.

    The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with the skills to advance the platform offerings, addressing the dynamic demands of customers and the changing regulatory environment within the stockbroking industry. This includes knowledge across various investment vehicles such as indices, bonds, SIPPs, ISAs, ETFs, Gilts, and mutual funds, employing a diverse strategy that integrates Hybrid Models, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C), White Label Solutions, and API-Driven Partnerships.

    Your mission will be to drive the evolution and operational excellence of all stock brokerage-related endeavors. Your role will be pivotal in amplifying the stockbroking services, collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners to fulfill the brokerage visions and requirements.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven expertise in securities management, with a robust understanding of the stockbroking industry's competitive dynamics.
    • Deep insights into the commercial aspects of platform operations and product line profitability.
    • A user-first approach in product development processes.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of investment funds and related offerings.
    • Previous experience with direct-to-consumer (D2C) platforms or advisor-led (IFA) solutions.
    • Crucial experience in stockbroking, underscored by comprehensive expertise in the trading of securities ALONG with advanced knowledge of the strategic landscape and competitive forces within the stockbroking sector.
    • Deep understanding of the primary factors driving success for platform-based businesses and their individual product lines.
    • Commitment to prioritizing the customer throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to rollout.
    • Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with a proven track record of engaging and persuading executive leadership effectively.

    Job Duties:

    • Drive the execution of key projects as the Chief Innovation Officer, working closely with various stakeholders to bring forward-thinking solutions to life.
    • Collaborate with diverse teams across areas like Product Development, Brokerage Solutions, Customer Investment Support, Digital Innovation, Organizational Transformation, Client Relations, Promotions, Regulatory Affairs, Data Insights, and Analysis.
    • Lead the charge in refining our brokerage offerings, overseeing the selection and roll-out of innovative features and services.
    • Build and nurture relationships with both internal teams and external partners to craft industry-leading solutions.
    • Direct the management of the product backlog for brokerage, ensuring each item is clearly defined, strategically prioritized, and accurately assessed for impact.
    • Supervise the conceptualization, development, and introduction of significant initiatives, including but not limited to, the trading of government securities, global transaction capabilities, initial public offerings, and enhancements to trading limits and options.
    • Liaise with external partners to enhance and expand our service portfolio.
    • Contribute significantly to the growth and strategic planning of our brokerage offerings.
    • Organize and lead the periodic Strategy Implementation Meetings, ensuring detailed record-keeping and effective communication with all involved parties.
