I am working with a large telecommunication company based in London and they need a Land Cable Technician to join the team.
This role will involve office work and global travel to sites.Responsibilities include:
Conduct site surveys including earth resistivity measurementsEngineering design of Land Cable and System Earth installationsProduction of drawings for installation including Land Route DiagramsAs-built reporting of site surveys & installationUnrepeatered system testing, both on land and at seaJointing and testing of Land Cable, Beach Joints and System EarthsCable Termination to company Terminal Station EquipmentLiaison with the cable factory and Project teamsDetailing procedures and completing H&S Risk Assessments Training provided:Type-C Land Joint QualificationFibre-Optic testing & cable-handlingLaser Safety, Power Safety & Confined Spaces trainingRequirements:Technical EducationSuitable for recent completion of electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or worked in telecommunications installationPractical & hands-on aptitude and willingness to travel If you have the experience and are interested in an exciting new job, then apply today or email (url removed).Navis Consulting; keeping your career on course.
