Role Overview:


The purpose of the role is to provide effective and comprehensive higher level business support to the Early Years Service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To be the front line of communication between the Schools and Learning Service, parents/carers, all educational establishments, Rightstart, Health etc and supporting services on day to day issues.
  • To provide project specific support across the Schools and Learning Service. You will play an important role in liaising with managers and managing day to day aspects of work programmes, initiatives and projects, escalating issues as they arise
  • To liaise with managers and the Family Information Coordinator to ensure that information including webbased information relevant to the service is accurate and up to date.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users
  • Knowledge of financial management systems and financial procedures.
