Paying up to £75K, this Greater Manchester based Social Housing provider is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to lead the Finance team and support the Executive FD for a period of approximately 6 months.

This can be a Fixed Term Contractor on a Dayrate (inside IR35), with a hybrid work pattern 2/3 with South Manchester offices.

THE JOB

The Interim Head of Finance will provide financial information to the ELT and SMT, ensuring effective financial control and risk management across the group.

Key responsibilities:

Lead on the annual budget process, ongoing forecasting, and variance analysis
Oversee treasury reporting, covenant compliance, cashflow forecasting, and compliance with any Treasury Policy's
Work with the Executive Finance Director on longterm business plan (in Brixx)
Lead on the financial accounting and the group consolidation
Mentor and develop the finance team, deputising if required for the Exec FD

THE PERSON

You must be a fully qualified and experienced Head of Finance with a natural ability to lead, coach and engage a small team
Experience of working within the Housing Sector would be highly advantageous
The role requires significant experience of managing, setting and monitoring budgets and financial management information
Experience of finance process improvement and treasury management is highly desirable
An excellent communicator at both a strategic and operational level, able to business partner the Executive Leadership and Senior Management teams
