Full time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent
Shift rota, occasional weekends (weekend enhancement paid)**

Here at Serco we are looking for a Painter/decorator with a proactive approach to join Great Western Hospital, Swindon.
Reporting into the Building Fabric Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient maintenance of the décor within the hospital.
In addition to this, you will also be focusing.Main Accountabilities
In this role you will carry out planned and reactive repairs, touching up, painting sections of the building and additional building fabric handyman duties.
You will carry out PPM and will communicate to Supervisors or Managers any unrepaired faults or defects or requirements for Spare Parts.
This is a vital but very busy exciting role, and you will need to be prepared to attend work or work beyond expected finishing time in exceptional circumstances, overtime paid.
You will need to be flexible to cover shifts Monday to Sunday on site operational hours of 07:00 - 19:00,.
What you'll need to do the role
To be successful in this role you will ideally be qualified and have proven experience working in a building services environment.
You will need Good communication and customer service skills and possess an appropriate relevant structured Training Program or demonstratable experience.
