    Description
    Position – Service Manager - Chillers & Commercial Heat Pumps £60k base salary + £5k Bonus

    Company – Large National M&E provider with a national team of Chiller Service Engineers

    Location – South East / Home Counties or London

    Industry – Chillers / Water Cooled Chillers / Air Cooled Chillers / Commercial Heat Pumps / Heat Recovery / Close Control / Precision Cooling, Data Centre Cooling, CRAC, CRAH


    Desired Experience – Extensive chiller service and maintenance engineering background ideally combined with some management / supervisory experience, fault find and fix, PPM's, Call out, + additionally if you have commercial heat pump and Heat Recovery service and maintenance experience this will be of great interest.

    The Role


    A leading national mechanical engineering provider seeks an experienced Chiller Service and Maintenance Manager to lead their South East chiller service team.

    You will oversee and supervise a team of between 5-10 chiller service engineers, primarily working from home or the office occasionally going out on site when required on difficult jobs or to meet key clients.

    You will co-ordinate jobs, draw up remedial quotes, RAMS / method statements and offer a high level of technical support to your engineers.

    Experience Required

    You will have extensive previous hands-on experience servicing Chiller systems, ideally combined with people management and commercial heat pumps. You will be highly capable at fault find and fix. F-Gas, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications and manufacturer training would be an advantage.

    Great teamwork and communication skills are also important both from a client facing perspective and internal regional team cooperation to service contracts and resolve fault find and fix call outs both quickly and effectively.

    The company is one of the largest M&E service providers nationally and due to growth of the companies national contracts they are looking to bring on a Service Manager to supervise their growing South East chiller service team.

    Their Chiller Service Engineers all have extensive and advanced knowledge on servicing HVAC systems from the top air conditioning and chiller manufacturers and their Service Engineers are highly skilled at advanced fault finding and fixing.

    Due to the decarbonisation requirements of buildings, specialist chiller, commercial heat pump and heat recovery service engineers are required for large commercial cooling and commercial heating central plant systems.

    The Package


    Initial indications are a base salary up to £60,000 for 37 hrs per week £5,000 bonus a company car will be provided along with a high contribution pension, private healthcare and dental.

    Furthermore, up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays. Overtime available if you did want to do some work weekends but this is not mandatory.
