    £23, % shift allowance

    Due to continued growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a DNA Modification Technician to join their team in Cambridge.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the performance of synthetic nucleic acid manufacturing.

    As a DNA Modification Technician you will be responsible for the following:

    Manufacturing of modified oligonucleotides.

    Preparing, operating and maintaining DNA synthesis in order to achieve the departments manufacturing schedule.


    Manufacturing modified synthetic nucleic acids using automated DNA synthesisers; prepare the reagents, set-up the synthesis instruments and regroup the required DNA sequences by the manufacturing batches; unload the products from the instruments and perform the vital downstream processes.

    To be considered for the Manufacturing Technician role you will need the following skills and experience:

    Educated to minimum of 2 A level's and a degree in a related life science subject.

    Previous experience working in a similar environment (production/manufacturing based)

    Experience working/following SOP's guidelines

    Proficient in the use of computer-based systems

    Ability to prioritise own workload

    Have a proactive approach with the excellent verbal and written communication skills

    High attention to detail in written and numerical form.
