his is an exciting time for St Elizabeth Hospice. It is a time of expansion, development and investment in the Hospice Team.

We have an opportunity for a Counsellor to join our counselling service and work in a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be supporting those living with a progressive or life-limiting illness and work within our LivingGrief bereavement service.

You must be a Registered accredited Counsellor or working towards accreditation.

Our ideal candidate will have proven abilities to work with clients and families who have changing needs, on an individual basis, with couples and in groups, as well as an understanding and ability to support individuals and families throughout their illness.

There is capacity in the team to support a newly qualified counsellor working towards accreditation so newly qualified therapists are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

At this exciting time for St Elizabeth Hospice, we are looking for a dynamic, compassionate and highly motivated individual who can provide emotional support and counselling service for patients and their families requiring specialist palliative care.
