Description

We are looking for anenthusiastic member of staff who can join a team of well established training Officers as well as several new members of staff.

The post holder will be supporting the Digital Services Education and Access Lead in the management of a team of about 14 staff who are responsible for the delivery of Training for core Clinical IT systems at NUH.

The team work closely with the Digital content creation team too so experience of e-learning creation is desirable.

The post holder is the supervisor of the Digital Services Clinical System Training Team and their main focus will be to manage the training delivered to staff across the organisation in the use of clinical IT systems.

In addition the post holder will also be a member of the Digital Services Product Management Team and will contribute to the account management and on-going support of new and existing clinical IT systems and the associated change control and configuration processes.


Nottingham University Hospitals, Health Informatics Service (NUH HIS) provides services to both Nottingham City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre Campuses, as well as providing the cross community lead for the local IM&T plan.

The NUH HIS is at the forefront of developments in the NHS Connecting for Health programme and comprises a multi-disciplinary team of professional staff concerned with providing a wide range of services in information, knowledge management, computing and telecommunications.


The aim of the service is to be 'the best Digital Service in the NHS' and the post holder is expected to contribute to this competence.
