Description

An established investment manager is seeking a Head of Risk Management to join their London team. The business comprises of various entities engaged in prop trading, investment management, and market making.

Some of the responsibilities will include overseeing various risk management duties such as setting pre and post trade risk parameters, monitoring for adherence with risk limits, monitoring capital usage against clearer limits, and ensuring adherence toposition limits including daily pre-trade approval.

The role also involves liaising with PB risk teams and senior management for sign off on new exchange requests, leading annual risk reviews, creating ad-hoc risk views for oversight, and market abuse monitoring.

Additionally, the job requires maintaining and reviewing market abuse parameters, monitoring market abuse alerts, and accounting for any alerts raised.
