- Ideally qualified or part/qualified AAT, ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Ability to manage staff
- Be highly efficient and organised
- Possess strong communication skills
- Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
- Experience in using Xero, QuickBooks, VT and Taxcalc preferred
- You should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and meet deadline
- Overseeing and managing all aspect of book-keeping, reviewing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparation and submission of year-end accounts and tax return for companies
- Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Return
- Overseeing, managing work flow between the junior team members
- Supervising of junior staff
- Overseeing HMRC VAT compliance check with managers
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Other duties as required by the role
